We wish you a Merry Christmas!

We had a nice day. Last year, we went to our friends' for their first Christmas in their new house. (They had just moved in the previous summer.) This year, they came to our new house for our first Christmas. It was fabulous! Good food, good friends, & good fun, as you can see in the photos above.

MORE snow!

If you can believe it, last weekend we got MORE snow! Take a look at our new snow pics.

Whew! This year is not starting off the way I hoped. (I hoped it would NOT be too much snow.) I guess it will make for good skiing. Butterfly will be happy about that. She starts winter sports with school in January. They will be skiing at the mountain on Tuesdays and ice skating on Thursdays. She can't wait. She loves winter sports!

On the TTC front: We are just enjoying another month off and looking forward to our last try in January.

I'm sick right now. Yuk!!!! I hate being sick. It doesn't happen too often because I have an awesome immune system, but when it does, I'm a real baby. At least the cough medicine is finally letting me get some sleep.

I haven't kept up with my posting very well. I've been tackling some tough stuff in therapy with EMDR and it's been wearing me out emotionally. (In addition to being sick.) But I'll try to keep up a bit better. I haven't even been reading posts too much. Just worn out.

By the way, I don't really mean that. (I don't really want TOO MUCH snow this early.)

Anyway, my little (or big, depending on your perspecitive) Butterfly has been out playing in the snow. She's had a great time sledding in our backyard. Here's the proof. (The first one was one of the pics we put in our winter holiday cards.)







Here's an icicle on T's truck. First icicle of the year. Butterfly took it off and was eating it like a popsicle. (Gross! It's was hanging off a truck for goodness sakes.)


On the TTC front, I'm debating whether or not to skip next month, too. If I tried, it would be around the holidays and I don't want my doc doing things (like ultrasounds and insems) on different days than she would usually because the best day is a holiday. So, I'm not sure. We'll see.

I also joined Weight Watchers online a couple of weeks ago and I'm down 7.4 pounds. YAY, me!

So, I'm trying to stay positive (losing a few pounds is helping) and I'm sending tons of positive thoughts and energy to everyone, especially baby Korinne and her mom, lkp, Janine, Michelle, Lora and ALL of those trying to get through rough times.

And congrats to the recent BFP's! Especially Meg & Chris. I'm happy for you all.

Oh, Yuletide tree....Oh, Yuletide tree.....

We put up our Christmas tree on Dec 1st.

I was hesitant to add the pic of T and I to the slideshow above (because it's AWFUL), but I had to because I'm telling you what we were doing. We were hanging up our "1st Christmas Together 1990" ornament. Can you imagine that? Our first Christmas together was in 1990. Below is a picture from around that time. (T, me, & my mom) It was about 60 pounds ago for each of us. (LOL!)



DP will not be too happy that I posted it, as it was only a few months later that she wore a dress/skirt for the LAST time. Heehee! Anyway, we do not look like this, however, we do not look as bad as the other photo either. (Yikes!) I recently cut all of the blue out of my hair and have not put another color in, so GRAY it is!

Anyway, another update. I joined Weight Watchers online and I had my weigh in Friday and my first week's loss was 3 pounds! YAY for me! I figure it can't hurt TTC to lose a little and if the unimaginable happens and I'm unable to get pregnant, at least I'll be rootin' tootin' rowdy and rockin' sexy.

I was around the weight I would like to be in this photo. I'll have to lose 50 pounds. (Although the dress fit big, so you can't really tell that I was a lot smaller.) (I'm not sure that I'll grow my hair again though. It does look nice, however.) (My hair is curly when I have some.)


If I lose 30 pounds, I will weigh the same as I did in this next photo. LOL!!!!!!


Well, that's it for my trip down memory lane. Anyone want to go to the store and get me some hair dye? LOL!
